Vaikuntha Ekadashi

Vaikunta Ekadashi is also known as Mukkoti Ekadashi.

Observation: Fast All Day. Break the fast during dawn the following day. In case you cannot break the fast in the morning, break the fast in the evening. Do not break the fast in the afternoon.

Importance: Vaikuntha Dwaram or the gate of Lord Vishnu’s inner sanctum is opened on this day. Devotees who observe fast on Vaikuntha Ekadashi attain Moksha (salvation) by going to Heaven.
